Medieval Madness – I’m in the Philadelphia area and would like to find a game in good condition that I could pick up locally. Willing to consider all offers.

#2 10 years ago

Hope you're ready to pay way too much money. They are going for ridiculous prices.

#3 10 years ago

Will do Kevin.

But you might be waiting a *long* time!

The one I have is really in pretty nice shape, but I still can't help but consider sending it off to McCune to have him do his magic to it.

Don't worry, I'll restore it myself
One day I will squeeze a MM between my AFM and MB and have the flow tri-fecta!
Bump for the OP.

Hmmmm, what kind of magic is McCune spreading over these MM's? Maybe my MM needs this as well....

But at least you can swap it out with a Mirco Repro!

I don't know, depends on how you look at it. That MM has been played to death. People have obviously got a ton of enjoyment out of that one. Every last ounce!

Famous last words of the past dozen years.

Good luck with your search, MM is an amazing machine!

They have been saying that for years. Buy now, play, have fun, sell later, pocket cash.

There is one on the Pittsburgh CL pittsburgh.craigslist.org link if your willing to drive 4-5 hours?

#28 10 years ago

Ad says, "we both know what they sell for. make a reasonable offer."

Makes you wonder if he considers a 9-10k offer "reasonable" or if he is thinking more like $15k. Who knows. Since he does not list a price nor show other photos I think it would be fine for you to start low.

I paid $12k for my pretty nice MM back in March. I understand these things are exploding in price but you never know what someone's situation is. I say email the guy with your phone number and actually talk with him instead of just emailing.

I just bought 2 pins which the seller had similar or slightly higher offers but I was the ONLY person who called him. The guy told me he had nearly 100 emails. I got the pins primarily because I called and developed a nice phone relationship. We were able to have a mutually beneficial deal hammered out which I don't think would have happened without the phone call.

Email is great for some stuff but I think it is a poor medium for communicating generally speaking.

Any, that is my $.02. Good luck on your search. Despite the price, MM is a ton of fun.
