Looking for this part for Dr. Dude's magnet. My bracket snapped at the welding points. Thanks!

Any pics of these.Almost sure that I have it.

Is the center post integrating into the bracket or is it threaded and adjustable?

I will take pics when I get back home. It's basically similar to a ball popper mounting bracket but has a large nut welded to the bottom which the magnet rod passes through. Stay tuned for a pic and thanks for the response.

I had this machine with the magnet,so I must have it.

Here are the pics of it. The bracket is supposed to have that large top nut welded to it but when attempting to loosen the lower nut to adjust the rod, it broke off. Seems to be an ongoing issue with this game. Anyone have it?

Neither of the brackets I had in mind. Sorry can't help.

Just have it welded back together. Or put a nut on the other side.

#9 8 years ago

If it was convenient for me to have it welded back I definitely would. O-Din good idea on the nut, but the coil rests on the other side. Obviously would have to be a thin nut to avoid pushing the coil up too high, any other issues this might cause?

Most muffler shops will do little weld jobs like this for very little. That is what I would do if I didn't have a welder handy.

Wow

Quoted from o-din:Most muffler shops will do little weld jobs like this for very little. That is what I would do if I didn't have a welder handy.

Maybe because I never set foot in a muffler shop, but I had no idea they did welding. I have a few of those near by, will look into that. Thanks.

Some are cooler than others. But it's not that hard to find a guy that will take a minute out of his day to fix a broken part.

Some times they are just standing around with nothing to do anyway.

So I walked into the Meineke down the street, asked the guy if he could weld it together. He said sure, give me an hour. Came back, done. Refused to charge me. Thanks for the reco, O-din.
