Yes, the game that is always up for sale, I am looking for one, must have topper, no playfield wear..no broken plastics, and no issues..

Not looking for a long drive, I am in Milford MA..

So let me know what you have.

Thanks

Said no one ever.

Just kidding

#3 9 years ago

Oh I know... But I really want one.

#5 9 years ago

Gotta be one out there..

lol. I was going to say something similar.

It isn't that bad of a game and not hard to find. I would buy one if I could find one in a condition and price I liked.

I wouldn't mind someone PROCing this game. It has the same layout as T2 so it isn't that bad.

Yet not one email with one.... When I am not looking they are everywhere..

There is only on the other coast. If you do not find anything better, you can try to deliver as consolidated cargoes

I have one I will be up for sale . I did a complete upgrade with LEDs and clean and polished its really nice up dated ROMs . I was going to ask $1400.

#11 9 years ago

I was saying the same exact thing to myself 2 days ago, I want an LW3. I guess if they're always up for sale I should have an easy time locally getting one then.

#12 9 years ago

You would think it would be easy.. But it never is

If you were not in IL I would be interested in talking to you about it

Funny story. The day I decided to look for one, I found one on ebay. No joke, the next town over. OK shape from the few photos I could see. I'm away from home for a few weeks and asked the seller if I could buy and he hold it till I get back. Gave me some kinda story like he didn't want to store it. Which is his prerogative, clearly not a pinsider. NO one could have picked it up for me either. So I feel you, I passed on one earlier this year to.

Well, I WAS working with someone on pinside, who was in Buffalo, I told him that was too far, said he would meet in Albany.. stalled for 2 months on pictures (still don't have them).. then tells me he smashed the glass on it... I say Ok.. post this ad, then he gets back to me saying he has one for sale... I ask what happened to the glass situation, he does not respond, I PM him again.. what exactly is the story with this.. the then explodes on ME, saying I was stalling on buying this, and that there is no way he is driving to Albany, and he has all this money in it.. in CAPS...

Needless to say, that deal is NOT happening...

Funny thing I have all his PM messages with all his delays and apology's about not being able to get the pictures over during the 2 months, and the one about the smashed glass..

#16 9 years ago

What's a reasonable price range for Lethal Weapon?

You may need to PM me his info so I can stay away from that dude. Sounds like he couldn't be more of a douche if we filled his chest cavity with vinegar and put a plastic tip on his head. I don't understand why guys play around as this is kinda a small world and we talk. Sorry it didn't work out man.

#18 9 years ago

Sorry yours did not work out either, sending you a PM.

Price range 1K for one with a beat cabinet, 1200-1400 for a decent one.. give or take based on plastics, LED or not.. etc.

#19 9 years ago

I have one in Mt. Clemens Michigan. Nicked up cabinet. Reimported. Has topper but has a crack and piece missing in the back (about the size of a quarter. Players pin. Once in awhile the DMD flickers when you turn machine on. I open the backglass and jiggle the wires to the DMD and all good for another 200 games. Easy fix but I have medical issues lately and cannot devote time to diagnosing.

Now the good. Beautiful PF, high gloss like it was wet...not a scratch on it. All plastics perfect and no cracks. All targets like stand ups and drop downs are mint. The wire frames are mint (no rust or pits). The boards are hack free. This is my first pin I ever bought. Always turned on and never had an issue...never!. I have LED's through out. Most are white and some have acrylic paint on them to change the color...it looks marvelous, trust me. I'll look for photos. Oh yeah, has updated rom's so minimal ok, ok, ok.

I have doctors all day tomorrow so it may take until Friday for pics. $1,500

#28 9 years ago

This is all I have. I can take more on Friday or this weekend.

Lw3 was my first game and I sold it and "moved up" as I thought. The more I find in the hobby the more I come to appreciate some of these games, epically for the lower price. Lw3 is just plain fun. I decided I had to have it again, within a few weeks I found a decently clean example, domestic, clean cab and just a few cracked plastics. Playfield was amazing. Paid 1000$ and felt this was fair on both ends. After a shop and just a few adjustments it came out great. 1000$ is the right around the price on these it seems, 1200 for a uber clean example.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

It's a fun game and a guilty pleasure. Owned it for a few months pretty'ing it up a bit. Sold for a FH... I never tired of Pesci's OK OK OK. Good luck; remember when these were everywhere just a few years ago? I got one for $525 a few years back.

Bump for ya!

YIKES! I never seen stand ups missing pieces like that on any pin. I assume routed and the operator just raked the quarters and did not care about spending any of those quarters on the machine?

Sad if true

Noticed this one you posted does not have a stock topper (after market one that I see many people install). Also, the side rails look wide where the flipper buttons are. Mine are not like that. I assume not stock or original? Mine are not near as large (the black area).

My question to the thread. On any given pin...when things are replaced with non original...is value lost? If yes...even if the swapped item is superior? I am just curious so I know how to value my LW# and other pins properly.

TY in advance!

#37 9 years ago

My topper was smashed so bad it looked better gone than on. So I found a solution. Not sure about the side rails. That's how it came. Very likely not original. I sold it for $1400 back in early 2012. That's was a good price and not what it would be now obviously.
