I think those two ramps would look fantastic if they were wireform vs. plastic - I wonder if the habitrails dude here could put those together? Powdercoat the G in bright yellow and the R in red; I think it'd look great, and then you could actually see the top 3 inserts in the guitar lane. Though I'm not sure how you'd go about mating their entrances where they meet the playfield, and you've also got the trap door mech to worry about.

It just sold a NOS R ramp for $65,-

You could always do a prototype style snake, which was just a rubber snake cut to fit.
