Hello, I have a customer that I'm trying to fix his cpu board. Board is dead. Looking for replacement or repair service for home model Bally fireball. Thanks in advance! John Ross

Couldn't you use one of the Altek replacement ones? Not cheap, but they seem to work well.

John Robertson at flippers.com sells a chip to repair the board or you can send him the board to repair.

Checked with John and he is several months out. Bump to see if any other options.

I ordered one of the series 2 chips from flippers for the Bally home editions and it works perfectly!! Highly recommend had to wait a couple weeks to get it but it’s totally worth it.

I am working on one of these for a customer. Got everything working, but the GI. lighting. Manual has nothing on the G.I. Lighting.

You can probably trace the GI lighting out by hand it's a direct path from the transformer. The GI circuits in this game are subject to the same connectors burning out issues the professional games have.
