WTB: Data East Slap Shot MPU Board

Wanted

Just picked up one of these & the boards failed on me right away, now I'm stuck with massive paperweight. I have no schematic & it seems nobody is able to repair these given their rarity. I'd love to find a working MPU, I'd pick up a power supply board as well.

I have MPU and Power Supply from Star Trek 25th Anniversary. But I don't know if they are same part number. If they are, they will work, only need to put new ROMs.

It is not a standard pinball board set. I'm legit scared that I'm gonna have a massive paperweight forever.

Did you get this figured out? I bought one and have schem

#5 4 years ago

would love to see a pdf of that schematic. Check your voltages first once you have the schematic. Sounds like a power supply issue. Caps do not age well. Should be an easy fix.

If not and the board has 'bricked' John at Johns Jukes may be able to help. He can fix anything. He can be found at flippers.com

I now have the schematic if someone needs it
