Update 4/7 - ok, decided I just wasn't ready to give up the fight. Going in the corner and will see what parts I can find!

Parts needed:
Sound Board 520-5050-03
PPB Board 520-5021-05
Power Supply 520-5047-03
CPU 520-5003-04
Display Controller Board 520-5092-01
SSFB Solid State Flipper Board 520-5076
Backbox Bridges/caps
8" DE Cab Speaker
Paddle Wheel motor 041-5036-00
Little board under pf located in middle ????

Update 4/6 - have decided this will be parted out. lmk if you need any parts and I can strip them. I will probably wait a bit before I just start stripping unless parts are needed

Update 4/6 - took some pics and a better look and needs a lot more than just boards. Worth saving????

Surprising enough the DMD itself was left and makes me wonder if it is any good. I should be able to test it on a local friends BF with fingers crossed!

If anyone parted a Maverick I would also be interested in the entire wire harness!

I have a spare 520-5021-04 PPB board from a lot of Hook Parts I recently picked up. Not sure if that helps but ill make you a good deal on it. Good luck with the search.

I think you guys are right....just hate the idea of parting it.

Quoted from Atomicboy:

Kudos for trying, but I think the consensus is correct. The DMD likely has issues, and given the cost there and all the boards, it's a parts machine. Problem is, all the good stuff is already taken, as plastics are available and cheap, and nothing else other than the paddlewheel and vuk opto are really problematic on this machine.
Too bad, I think this is the most underrated machine, I absolutely love mine. Maybe put it aside, and see if you can scrape together the parts for cheap here and there at shows.

I think your right....maybe I should stick it in the corner and see if I can find the parts. For now she is no longer getting parted....might change again....lol

I would say testing the display is really going to tell you what is the best direction for this machine..
Best of luck whichever way you decide to go..
I know on mr.pinball I believe someone has one listed there for 800 bucks missing some boards and such, but maybe contact him and see if he has anything you need for yours.. of course depending if he has not sold it yet.
Steve

Will do. I am able to test the DMD next week so until then will probably hang tight and make my decision then.
