Anyone know where to buy coarse thread hex head wood screws? These are the screws used on B/W games for things like the backbox latch and the leg bolt plates.

Checked all the regular sources, only found the standard thread versions. Didn't see the anything at McMaster-Carr or Grainger either.

Any leads appreciated. I only need about 25 of them.

    Alllen heads ?

I assume he's talking about the torx head security screws.

My bad. I meant hex head...

1/4 hex head, coarse thread, and longer than the ones that hold playfield mechanisms in place... I could use some, too! If you find a source...

Oops. I missed the part about "hex head".

I can look at work and see what we have. And if we have them I will grab some for you.

These are called "Hi-Fast" screws. Search on part number 4608-01081-xx where xx is the length in 16ths of an inch. I believe the -11 variant are the ones used for leg plates and etc. - although check the measurement yourself (tip to bottom of head). Marco has a few variants in stock.

Or search for "hi-fast unslotted hex washer head" and you'll find a few other places...

Found this thread doing a google search, anyone ever find a source for these? Specifically the coarse hex heads used for the WPC backbox latch and plate? Not sure if part number is 4608-01081-10 or 4608-01081-11.

Thanks for the pretty picture but I'm looking for the actual screws, not a picture of the screw......

    I think that these are the ones I used(but it's been a while): https://www.pinballlife.com/8-x-58-slotted-hex-head-screw-for-new-style-leg-bracket.html
I think I used 3/4 screws for bigger things. Trying to see if I have a package left in my parts boxes.

Slotted heads dont look factory, I think he is having trouble finding the OG style...

Ah. Alas, I am of no use then. My apologies.

    In stock-4608-01081-09

Marco also lists 4608-01081-10 and 11 but both are out of stock. The 10 is carried by Home Depot https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-8-5-8-in-External-Hex-Flange-Hex-Head-Sheet-Metal-Screws-25-Pack-41362/203448026 self tapping instead of just a point but that’s going in the wood anyway.

Look for sheet metal screws, you’ll find the 11/16” somewhere.

Self tapping is for metal only, never use those in wood.

i can ship the screws .
