I passively looked for one about a year ago ... I'd kind of like to grab one for real this time

You may want to give idea of what you are willing to offer, if you are serious. There were only so many extras made from the IPB run when screened and CCd in 2005-2006, and we are not talking dozens.

$500-1000 is not going to cut it, unless PPS has a reject available, which is unlikely.

Last two unused BBB playfields I know of that were sold went for between $2k and $2.5k. That was one year ago and I don't think there has been much happen to change the market. A used playfield might found for 500 less, but they are so rare maybe not.
