Seems like an odd choice for a theme but maybe they're smarter than me.

#2 4 years ago

Hell to the No. 2 thumbs down......Way....way down.

#3 4 years ago

Not a fan of the theme at all. If the game's amazing I'll consider it, but there are many other games I'd probably want to get first.

Turd!,,,,,,,,

(Insert sound of crickets.)

#6 4 years ago

I hate wrestling but the pf looks cool. If the game play is fun..why not.

#7 4 years ago

Not for me

#8 4 years ago

Nope!

#9 4 years ago

Will wait for the premium.

#10 4 years ago

Stern continues to think they know best.........A foolish company and their profit just parted ways.......

#11 4 years ago

The gameplay could be better than MM and I still could not have that ignorant crap in my house.

#12 4 years ago

Haven't played it

#13 4 years ago

I'll drop a few bucks in to try it out, but no way I'd ever want a wrestling themed game. Hope it's fun to play though.

#14 4 years ago

Why is there no option for "maybe but we haven't seen shit yet & it's stupid to buy anything from Stern until the 3rd code update"

#15 4 years ago

If they have theme music in this and Jim Ross callouts, this is a dream theme for me!!!

#16 4 years ago

this one will be fun to see at the shows.
can't wait to see what's going on with a wresting stage on the playfield.

Worse. Theme. Ever.

Barbed wire
Water world
Shaq

I'd rather have a tooth pulled.

I am a wrestling fan, but I would not consider owning one.
1993 was a bad time in wrestling for a pinball theme, same for 2015.

Unless it had a retro feel with Road Warrior Hawk yelling out quotes or Ted DiBiase's laugh or something, otherwise no thanks.

Probably has wide appeal to the masses as the American public understands the premise behind "wrestling". WWE or whatever it's now called has name recognition, but no way in hell the collector community will purchase. Horrific theme imo, but perhaps McMahon is pseudo funding Gary on the back end to make it worthwhile? Who knows… Disappointing announcement.

What happened with Jaws??

I'd take Water World over this. Barbed Wire is a close call. Shaq is worse.

I would take water boarding over this.

#25 4 years ago

Haven't played it or even seen it properly yet

Does that really matter?

I'm out, but Larry the cable guy called me and said he ordered 3.

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they can't be that stupid to put WWE out on the heels of Mustang.

This has to be some kind of co-opted marketing deal with them, like Mustang, that is subsidized in part by them.

Has to be, where are the distros pumping for $$$?

#29 4 years ago

I certainly hope it's fun to play as it will likely show up at Texas Pinball Festival in a few months. Can't see buying it, never was a fan of wrestling (real or fake).

What exactly are you referring to, '94 WWF Royal Rumble or the rumors to another one?

One of the video games that got the most play at my place is WWF Wrestlemania.... quite a lot of PVP fun for guests.

Edit: Ahh, there is a new one announced... it could be a fun game

#31 4 years ago

Maybe aftermarket if it is fun to play.
I liked the old wrestlers and do not follow wrestling anymore. But you never know.

#34 4 years ago

Will not.

#35 4 years ago

Thankfully I don't have to see the DUMBEST pinball quote ever, over and over again, with this pin.

"Shut up and take my money now"

#36 4 years ago

can't do it, at least until I play it.

#37 4 years ago

I don't know why they keep going with the redneck themes. I feel like most people buying these machines are into sci-fi/fantasy/movie IP's. Or something original. I'd love to see an original stern theme, but I feel like that will never happen.

#38 4 years ago

If these guys are in it, I'm in!

People put shit on Tron before they played it.

#40 4 years ago

If the game is done right, it could be just like STTNG with the theme.

WWE is in Chicago a few times a year. I would be shocked if Vince doesn't have everyone involved record custom speech.

How cool would it be, that when the game starts, they have Vince say "Welcome to Wrestlemania!!"

Have Daniel Bryan say "Time for multi-ball", then the crowd chants "YES! YES! YES!"

There's an awful lot they can do with this game.

#41 4 years ago

Not even close.

#42 4 years ago
Quoted from blue95:

And IronMan

#43 4 years ago

NOW do you like Mustang?

#44 4 years ago

This is no Iron man or Tron... This is the kind of theme that almost put them out of business! I was almost hoping it was a Joke.

#45 4 years ago

If the premium is Stone Cold Steve Austin themed....im in

#46 4 years ago

Thats what it is , they announced this so they could sell more Mustangs

#47 4 years ago

Its not looking good for it so far. I personally find the theme completely unappealing.

Gottlieb was on a roll with those titles. I am sure Brooks and Dunn would have continued that tradition toward closing the doors. It's too bad as those later pins worked very well on route. Cue Ball, Freddie and Rescue 911 were all winners on location.
