Does anyone make an interactive backbox kit for WPC95 games? i.e. star trek next generation, etc. I have one of these for Metallica, and I see lots of stern games with them. But has anyone done one for WPC95 games?

I prefer the alternate translites and I'm curious if I could make one like the stern ones, i.e. out of LED color controllers and thick poster board w/ LED Strips and put the lighting where it makes sense for the alternate translite?

Looking for a starting point, if anyone has done anything similar.

Only reason they were made for sterns is bc all they had were a florescent tube with no gameplay interaction . Wpc 89 pins (like sttng)have controlled gi and flashers in the backbox allready. While wpc 95 dont have controlled gi (can be added with blackout mod ) they still have lots of lights and flashers.

Good point, I was thinking of taking the backboard out altogether, and wiring up new LED strips to accent the alternate translites in the right places w/ the right colors.

It definitely cld be done fairly easy ....i guess there just isnt a huge demand bc it has great lighting allready.

Maybe what I will do is just buy the matrix style bases for the 44 bulb and just add LED strips wherever I think it goes w/ the alt. translite.
