Doubtful.
What would the coin door need 12VUR for?
Perhaps a DBA?

There are several 4 pin connectors like J141.
Over time, they get mixed up so the connections shown in the manual can't be trusted.
If you've physically traced the wire, that's a good thing.

Are you saying it may be that it should be connected to J140 instead of J141? Both supply 12+v and ground according to the schematics
Yes sir. J139, J140, and J141 are all four pin connectors with identical pinout.
They can be interchanged freely, and often are.
You may have to connect those connectors one at a time to figure out which one is causing the fault.

Make sure that the electrolytic cap on the (edit) 7-Opto board is not leaking. That cap often leaks and can cause the behavior noted.

Quoted from DumbAss:For WPC-89, this is much more common due to layout.
For WPC-95, it can happen but the electrolytic capacitor is above the heat sink and the regulator and traces are quite far below.
DumbAss
Sorry. Imprecise wording and corrected. I meant the cap on the 7-opto board.

If you can't post the pic of the 7 opto board, email it to me at chrishiblerpinball AT gmail.com

The blue bar coded shrink is probably factory. The barcode allows quick identification of what it is used for.
Power off.
Clip the leg of the smoked diode that is not connected to the header.
Meter on DC volts.
Black tucked under ground braid.
Power on.
Red meter probe on the the still attached diode leg.
What voltage are you reading?

And that is fine.
That is the unregulated 12V.
I was hoping for something more.
