My BSD has a weird issue. When I boot it up and go to switch test row 1 and row 2 shows all switches closed. Machine Will sometimes say row 1 or 2 shorted to ground. If I walk away, leaving it in test mode, the machine will correct itself within 2 minutes and the switches go back to open. This is without bumping the machine or doing anything it just fixes itself and plays fine.
If I unplug the mpu plug for switches (just the white wires) the switches all show open so I assume it is not a board issue.
It's hard to figure out being that it is intermittent. I checked all corresponfing switches and do not see anything obviously grounded. Any help is appreciated

Quoted from LTG:

Might have a switch shorted internally causing this.
You may have to disconnect one at a time to find it.
LTG : )

Could I just unplug one wire from the associated switches or should I completely remove the switch. Or could I somehow do this from the connectors at j207 and j209?

Any idea why two rows would be shorted at once and both clear at the same time?

I replaced U20 on the mpu board and it did not fix the issue. I was looking into some other people's threads and one person happened to mention U1 on the 10 opto board, I looked at it and one of the pins looked burnt so I replaced that and it fixed the issue of two rows shorted to ground simultaneously and intermittently.

After that was fixed I had one issue where the crypto pop was randomly firing after some more investigating it turned out that U2 on the 10 opto board needed to be replaced as well
