What the...? The 2 switches weren't registering in switch edge. I replaced the switches. Now they test properly, but still only function sporadically in the game.

What the...?

And yeah, this is the T2 I'm trying to sell. You get a couple people interested, and then....this. Any thoughts appreciated!

What two switches? Can they be tested by rolling a ball over them?

Sorry - that might help. They are the Chase Loop switches. Chase might advance, and then again, it might not. Same with hurry up. I've tried it with a ball and with a screwdriver pushing the switch all the way down. Same performance. Switch edge works, game only inconsistently.

Try adjusting the wire actuators.

Switches in a fast loop orbit like that can be picky about exactly how the wires are bent.

Seen it before.

I've adjusted the wireforms so that the switch activates when it's between ~1/4 and 1/8 inch above the pf, and adjusted the position of the switch so that nothing interferes with the wireform movement. The motorcycle animation happens every time, but it scores apprpriately about 20% of the time. I'm baffled...not that that's unusual...

Do the wires have a crimp on terminal? I had the same kind of problem on my DemoMan switches, I cut terminals off and soldered wires directly on the switch. Never any more trouble.

Headed down to the basement to heat up the iron...

Grumpy = Genius

Tempted to do this to all of the switches. It was easier than I thought, as that small gauge wire can be twisted together and threaded through the hole in the switch terminal for easy/secure soldering.

Thanks!!!
