Fish Tales
Williams, 1992I have a sound board in need of repair.
It's a 16-9058 board from Fish Tales.
At power on C26 and C28 burned to a crisp.
Both are tantalum 1uF.
What could cause this?
Bad big caps at C24 and C25? (4700uF each)
Or should I look toward the 7912 and 7812?

Hey Peter,
I don't think the 7812/7912/C24/C25 can cause the C26/C28 to blow.
More likely a shorted diode (D1-D4) or just plain old capacitors.
