Hi all,
I'm doing some work on a WPC power driver board in my STTNG and I have a resistor question.
I have found a dead 2.7K Ohm, 1/4w, 5% (R84) ceramic resistor on the board. I have a spare 7 Ball Trough Photo Transistor assembly with a working 2K Ohm, 1/4w, 5% (R5) ceramic resistor on it and I was wondering if I can use the resistor from the trough assembly on the power driver board.
I read that you can't go up in Ohms on a resistor replacement, but I was wondering about going from a 2.7k to a 2k.
I know this isn't ideal, but will it work in a pinch?
