I'm rebuilding my power driver board for Bride of Pinbot. The bridge rectifiers 1 and 2 have gone bad. I was looking at the manual to find what their specs are, and the manual has a single part that doesn't describe the bridge rectifiers. It just has it as a 2-BR + Heat sink assembly. That specific part seems to be out of stock most places, but honestly I just kind of want to know if BR1 and BR2 are "35A 200V" bridge rectifiers just like BR3-BR5...

Even when I look up the whole assembly on sites that have them out of stock they don't break it down as to what it is:

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Anything above 400v, 1A with wire leads can be used. You will also need to clean off the old thermal paste on the heat sink and apply new paste on the new bridges.

Awesome! Thanks! Does anyone know where I can find suitable replacements? The BR's I've found that are 1A 400V don't seem to be the same dimensions and I'm wondering about how I could possibly put a heat sink on them.

No, 1Amp bridges won't work here. 35Amp is used on the powerdriver. 200V to 1000V versions are in most stores

I'm not sure but these might be available at Radio Shack. They are definitely more expensive but if you factor in shipping it might be a wash.

Purchase them from Great Plains Electronics. Marco has them too, but Ed is a great asset to the hobby and has all of the hard-to-find electronics parts.

Oops. I was looking at the parts list for the DMD board

So, yes, a 400V 35A wire lead would be the correct one.

There are other vendors as well.

If you don't want to make an order for just these parts I am located on the east side of the Seattle metropolitan area. PM me if you need them quickly.

<sigh of relief>

Thanks everyone! I was a little confused there, but I am pretty sure I got the right one. I went with the

Because I needed a few other items from pinballlife anyways, and combining shipping is always the best.

Hopefully I can get this thing back in working order!
