Coil diode? Sometimes not mounted on the coil itself, but as long as you can ID the ground vs. feed you can install one directly on the coil, even if there's a diode mounted elsewhere.

There's a diode mounted somewhere for it.
If it's not on the coil it's on a board.

Put your Funhouse MPU in it. (Swap the roms over, make sure it's jumpered the same)

Try a factory reset on the hurricane.

Press gently on the ASIC and make sure its seated firmly.
