I have on odd issue on a Whitewater. The lower left flipper does not work in game just in test. Flipper opto is good. Upper left flipper works fine.
Any thoughts?

Quoted from Cycloneman:check that flipper switch and does it register in switch test?
No, but the opto is good. If you move the flipper board the problem does not move with it.
Quoted from Cycloneman:ok,then this would most likely be a problem on the fliptronics board in the backbox.any fuses on the fliptronics board?
Fuses check fine. Coil works in test. Wiring is good from board to opto. Could it be a fault on the fliptronics board? I've never had that happen.

Quoted from Coyote:Yes, it's a simple 4-channel opto-isolator. If something happened on that one circuit (high voltage pulse, for example), the opto-isolator could be blown for that channel.
But since a new fliptronics board - or fixing the existing one - is time-consuming and expensive, that's why you check everything else.
Turns out the issue was with the fliptronics board. Not sure which component failed but I swaped in a good one and it works fine.
