I am looking to test a board I have and was wondering if I can install a A-12697-3 in place of a A-12697-1 board. I am looking to install a WCS94 (A-12697-3) power driver board in to a CFTBL (A-12697-1).
Is this possible.
Thanks in advance
Yes. CFTBL will work perfectly with either vintage board.
The -1 board is only REQUIRED for pre-FlipTronics games (i.e. pre TAF).

Chris is the biggest bomb when it comes to WPC electronics
Quoted from PinballManiac40:What problem are you trying to verify with the board swap?
I had just undertaken some repairs on the driver board and wanted to test the board.
It had some reset issues and and lamp matrix problems although they are all sorted now.
