The cabinet speaker on my roadshow is terrible
I'll ruled out the speaker, the big cap and the transistor with the heatsink.
Its exactly the same as this video.
Where to next?
Thanks

How have you ruled out the speaker? Is it original? If so, I'd bet the foam surround is laying in pieces underneath it.
It does really sound like the sub is blown, did you try a different sub that is known good to rule it out??
Yea tried a known good sub.
I really does sound like it's blown bit I'm 100% sure it's not.
I even tried the back box speakers on the cabinet channel for a second and they sound the same.
If you plugged the backbox speakers into the cabinet output and they sounded fine then I would look for a wiring issue, confirm the wires are not crossed by swapping them at the terminals on the sub directly.
If that does not change the sound output, then I would try testing this sub in another machine and see if the problem follows, just to confirm it is indeed not the sub, then inspect the wiring closely from the sub to the backbox. You may want to try swapping audio boards if you can to rule out the board, see if the problem follows the board in another machine.
