I am looking for the Metal screw mount which the boards screws into and make contact with the ground place inside the back box. I tried several keyword in the usual parts website and came up empty...

2 of mine are severely stripped and would need a replacement.

#3 6 years ago

If you want them faster I have extras for free but I'm on the other side of lake Washington ..

#4 6 years ago

These generally don't strip. If the screw is good but screwing in still seems like it's stripped, you can adjust the tabs that the screw threads into to get things right again.

great, thanks guys

I can't stress enough how important these parts are, if they are striped and contact is not tight to ground the game will reset intermittently. Two of mine were striped on one side of my AV board and it caused me major grief until I found the problem.

Hi guys, bumping this old thread. I am looking for these. Marco has them for $4.50 EACH, which is insane. I have tried to find these with a google search but no luck.

Anyone have a lead on this part? Or have any extra they can sell me? Thanks for any help!

I got mine from Australia https://www.pinballspareparts.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=standoff+clip+1%2F2inch

Still expensive at about $2.22 USD each but I had a bunch of other stuff to order so I was already paying for shipping.

vid1900 Do you have a place to buy the Inner Range Metal PCB Standoff Mounting Clips.

I googled them and they look correct but the only place I found was New Zealand and it didnt look like I could order them.

How many do you need?

#11 2 years ago

Hey Brian. Thanks for reply. I need 36.

I have a major project Whirlwind and the existing is all covered in rust. Let me know if you can help!

#12 2 years ago

I could use an additional 100 or so myself.

#13 2 years ago

So.... anybody know who makes those?

IDK

I've got 4 bags years ago, and they came will all those screws included too

I believe I got them from Hosfelt Electronics in OH

#16 2 years ago

I'm also in need of a small number of these, if anyone has any leads (other than the outrageous price that Marco is charging, that is).

#17 2 years ago

Wow - I count myself lucky in scoring the WPC metal plate and all the needed Inner Range Metal PCB Standoff Mounting Clips from Pablo in Argentina last month.

I think what we need is:
Length / width of the plate holes (looks square to me).
Distance from surface of plate to surface of standoff once installed.
Screw size.

From there I may be able to find a manufacturer for these.

#19 2 years ago

G-P-E I would be happy to send you one to measure.

BTW, How are you doing on those WPC fuse holders?

Regards,

Kevin

#20 2 years ago

Yes - that would be good. I have seen several requests for these and it would be nice to find out where to get these in bulk.

About half of the fuse holders are gone, pretty good for one month. New ones came in 6 months early, pricey little buggers in comparison. Want to sell all of the last batch before listing the new ones at the inevitable higher price. Stocking parts is going nuts. A lot of parts are now coming with a 44 to 52 week lead time - previously unheard of. And prices are way up. Tried to order axial electrolytic caps. Prices are 33% higher, minimum buys have doubled plus a 9 month wait to get them. This is just getting too hard!

Ive sent Atlas Gentech in NZ Email and will get a price, Im based in NZ so will happily sort some if anyone need them. I have a backboard being CNC cut now so I need them as well

Awesome thank you. I called them yesterday and confirmed they don’t ship to USA. Ironically their parent company is based in Denver, CO about 10 minutes from me. But the parent company doesn’t have that part.

#23 2 years ago

Got a price back pack of 25 $17.50usd or $25nzd. Not sure of postage costs to US

better off getting them from marco 0.99¢

#24 2 years ago

I actually emailed Marco about these this morning and they replied it was a pricing error and lowered their price. I got a reply this afternoon. What are the odds of that ever happening?! Sometimes I guess being a squeaky wheel can work.

#25 2 years ago

They had 8 of them total in stock. they are now gone.

Who do I contact in NZ?

I can put in an order, let me know who wants a pack.

If could send them all to 1 US address it would be cheaper

#27 2 years ago

I want 4 packs

I would be happy to host the receiving of them and distributing to other members if they want them as well.

OK, cool Shipping to US would be around $20usd I imagine

That still works out to be a bit cheaper than Marco. Put me down for a pack, too.

#30 2 years ago

Scotty_K hamish_nz was able to buy 8 total bags of them. He is keeping one and bought the other 7 bags from him.

I only need 4 bags of them so I will save you a bag and let you know when I get them.

Ive ordered all the available packs (4 in Wellington + 4 in Christchurch) No more in New Zealand

Im taking 1 pack and remaining 7 packs are going to kclements, PM him if you want some.

They will be leaving for the USA next week

Thank you for doing this for all of us! This is another great example of why I love this community.

Great! Let me know what you need from me when they arrive, and thank you for taking this on for the rest of us.

#33 2 years ago

Kclememts - can I have one of f the bags? I’ll cover portion of the NZ shipping.

Edit - looks like 2 left from the lot from NZ so i will take two if possible.

#34 2 years ago

Looks like Scotty_K and Elicash Got the last 3 available bags.

No more at this time.

#35 2 years ago

Bad news.

hamish_nz got the Inner Range Metal PCB Standoff Mounting Clips in the mail and they are not the correct ones. They are considerably smaller then what we need.

So he is sending them all back.

So the hunt for the right WPC PCB mounts continues.

#36 2 years ago

They look like 1/4" we need 1/2" they only make at one size sadly

Im still looking

Quick update .

I have asked PSPS (Pinball Spare Parts Australia) if they would match Marco's price.

They said no problem and have already changed the price.

So they are $1.31 AUD. which is about .98 USD.

They were listed for $3.30 AUD or about $2.48 USD prior

#40 2 years ago

If anyone has a lead on the WPC-89 and/or the WPC-95 metal backbox panel, please let me know!
