    I pulled out a transformer from NBA to help test my current project and the NBA transformer seams to be wonky. Should I be concerned? It works without issue
    To me it looks like it’s been hot

    To me it looks like a very good transformer. What you see is some lacquer they use to reduce the buzz noise. Do not look for problems where there are none.

    The cores have moved and are offset
