Hi, I have a spare WPC95 board and tried testing it tonight to check it works. Plugged it in and no sound and a "sound board interface error" comes up. Led 501 also does not light.
The DMD works fine and the original board works fine so all supply voltages must be ok.
Any idea what to look for.

    Cheers Tony

Did you install the sound roms? Correctly? Test the 4 fuses with a dmm? Nit visually but with meter?

Have checked the fuses and ok. Not checked the sound roms. It had the original ROMS in for a SS and have fitted the board in an AFM but didn't think that mattered. However just found an article about removing the roms incase one has failed.
    Will try that tomorrow.
    Thanks for the feedback

Just an update. According to information I had found online it said to remove the sounds roms, and then reboot the machine. It should then give a "bong" to show the sound was working but the roms were faulty.
Tried this but no "bong" and LED501 is still not lit. Any ideas what to look for now. The fuses have been double checked and are all ok.

    Cheers
