I am embarrassed to ask this question but I am trying to reset my high scores to zero on my Congo. If I perform an H.S reset then change the back-up scores to zero, the factory scores are still being displayed. Am i missing a trick?

    Bonjour,

Not tried with zero, but it is possible to change the default high-score values.

By default, the Utility Menu - option 3 - U3. Reset the "High Scores To Date":
    congo1 (resized).jpgcongo2 (resized).jpg

The table is cleared and filled with default values (and default names):
    congo3 (resized).jpgcongo4 (resized).jpgcongo5 (resized).jpg
    The default values are factory : 1,500,000,000 - 1,400,000,000 - 1,300,000,000 - 1,200,000,000 and 900,000,000.

But you can change the "default values" (only the values, but not the names that are always WAG, JT, EFH, VIP and ADG).
    To change them:
    - first, set the values you want with the Adjustement Menu. The options are named "BACKUP ...":
For example, the champion default score is A4 menu - "BACKUP CHAMPION" (here I set it to 1,470,000,000) :
    congo6 (resized).jpg
    - Once done, use again the Utility Menu U3 to RESET the HSTD.

This time, the loaded values will be those you choose as "backup":

You have to set what you want the backup scores to be for a high score reset, then do the high score reset.

    Not the other way around.

Also a factory reset will set the defaults back to the factory values, and then reset the scores, so that doesn't work either.
