Are all WPC 95 boards able to be interchanged? I notice that for MM and AFM the CPU is A-20119 followed by 5 digits that are different, the AV board is A-20516 again with 5 following digits that differ.

I have assumed that they are interchangeable and maybe the last 5 digits just identify the original configuration/game? So any WPC 95 board can be used in any WPC 95 game, knowing that the chips/ROMs have to be swapped of course?

I confirm, but to be more precise, it's true for all versions of WPC-95 boards.

Indeed, some WPC-95 boards have hardware slightly different from the others (as for example, the prototype boards), but that does not change the operation.

Just replace the ROM and the associated SECURITY PIC.
The ASIC is the same for all boards, whether WPC-S or WPC-95. No need to replace it.
