This is a cross post regarding an issue on getting my cobbled together DH up and running but do these boards typically run "hot", 1/2 my optos are not functioning and half of them are. The resistors on the half of the board that is working are almost too hot to touch. Does this board typically function this way in games that it's used in when everything is working as it should? I am just curious if the heat is an indicator of a problem or nothing to worry about, thanks

Opto issue solved, found a Multiple bad wiring hack on the receivers and ground wire harness to the trough board. I was able to pull a harness off the extra playfield I have and presto the game boots and starts, now on to the next issue, all the coils from j130 on the driver board don't fire, thanks so much.
I like the idea of mounting the resistors further off the board great idea.
