My family hosted a gathering at our house while I was away last weekend. Went out to the game room and discovered that WOZ no longer boots. I get some purple error screens that I've included pictures of here. If anyone here has experience with this issue I'd really appreciate some advice.

Looks like it can't find the hard drive. Reseating cables is a good first step. If that doesn't work I would try the backup drive if you made one. Open a ticket with JJP.

Its definitely seeing the hard drive.

It's not finding the software image.

Could be bad SSD.

Or just Might have to reset the pc.

Hit the reset switch or jumper the reset pins on the mainboard.

Try installing the latest iso image.

Probably have to hook up a USB keyboard if you replace the ssd.

If it won't install the latest iso, probably a bad SSD.

I didn't know making a backup drive was something that people do with this game. Do you mean cloning the entire hard drive onto a physically separate drive that you keep to swap in if the drive in the game goes bad?

I should add that last night I reinstalled the game code from my thumb drive. Afterwards, the game booted and I reinstalled my settings from a couple of months ago. The game would play normally but once I turned it off, it wouldn't boot again. I would get the same error screens.

If the SSD is bad, do I have to replace it with something from JJP or can any off the shelf SSD be used?

Sounds like a bad SSD, the symptoms you describe match what happens.

No one makes a backup drive.
It's not necessary.

All you have to do is backup your settings as you have done.

Buy a new SSD.
install the latest full iso.

Install your backed up settings.

Pretty much any small ssd will work.

30gb, 40gb, 60gb etc

Any recommendations for a SSD? Minimum size? Other important specs to consider?
