personally, id' say neither. I don't like either one of them. If it's your first machine, you might not want something so complex anyway. Start off with a system 11 or something.

it's not douche at all. if it's your first machine. You don't go and buy a game like LOTR,WOZ , TSPP or Hobbit. Way to much involvement. better off starting off with a gateway game that still has a lot to offer, like addams family or something similar. Something to get you used to modes and structure on how most games play. It was logical reasoning.

that's the whole thing. new people come in and think they have to buy NIB JJP or stern. You get more fun out of something older than most of this NIB crap. They need to have more of an open mindset, instead of thinking NIB is the only way to go.

JJP isn't much better. People still have problems with their games that are still trying to resolve. Node problems on WOZ are still happening for the early birds. Every manufacturer has problems. Nobody was exempt from problems. NIB doesn't mean it's not going to need work. personally a used game from a knowledgeable collector, that has been bulletproof, is usually way more dependable and plays better than a NIB.

we have people in our league still dealing with fixes for the early runs of WOZ. Node problems still not resolved after numerous exchanges, and many other lighting issues happening. Been going on for a long time, and very frustrating for the owners.

ain't that the truth. LOTR, TSPP, Sopranos, Playboy, 24, CSI ect...games are very long running and last forever. TSPP and LOTR are usually excluded from league due to long running times.

I do enjoy a long running game as well. but I wouldn't want all my games to be long running. LOTR type games are for when you are ready to play and go on a journey. It's not the game you turn on, when you have 15 min to kill before you have to leave for the store. Or a game you fire up, when you have friends over that want to play together. It's a great alone game, when you have like an hour to kill and feel like questing.
