Quoted from PW79:I said completed dude, not a work in progress unfinished prototype or two.
A complete game
You know one with strong flippers, a screen that doesnt lock up, working modes/rules & such.
Dont confuse me with Exjet or whatever his name is. I am not on a mission to discredit JJP, I am not on a mission to be an enabler either. Just saying damn, year 3 is nearing, Stern will make business decisions based on a JJP fail or win & I think its in our best interests if JJP rocks it.
But damn, wheres the beef?
That's why they call them test games. Reminds me of when I got my X-Men LE. Remember. They didn't have multiball scoring and released the game NIB. I have the video to prove it.
We are getting close to 2 years when the project was "announced". Pinball 2000 took 18 months from a company that was already functional and they had almost the whole pinball division working on it. They are making everything from scratch. Problems are going to occur. No one from JJP said the games are 100% complete. They are working to get to that point. I have no doubt the game will be released. Whether it's next week, next month, 6 months, or 6 years.
I agree with you that they need to get things rolling. Once the rules are knocked out and things are fine tuned it will get released. Only JJP and Keith knows when that will happen. The game felt 50-60% done to me at expo. It had a few rules, inserts didn't mean much but were pretty. Many rules, animations are not there but I realize they will be in the future. I'm sure there will be problems out of the box as well. Every Stern I have bought NIB has had some problem out of the box. Some small some big. To Stern's credit, they always made sure the problems were fixed. I'm sure JJP will do the same.
Enough rambling for now.
