WOZ TNPLH pop bumper, why is it not disabled with unnecessary?

For example when saving Toto. The bumper would never come in to play (as far as I understand) and many other playfield items are modified or disabled during these kinds of modes. It seems only natural that this element would be disabled as well. It's sort of annoying when you drain left during Toto and the ball's getting kicked around for several seconds. Seems like unnecessary wear on mechanics and playfield.

Raise left flipper, leave right down.
Had the ball come from left drain, back into play. All about the timing, pop bumper can help this rare save.

I had that happen the other night accidentally, so I understand that but that seems like it would be far fetched to be a "feature" of the game as opposed to a side effect of the pop bumper being enabled.

It's fairly unusual for *any* game to disable things so specifically - that's one of the cooler parts of WOZ in general. What you're describing strikes me as more of a "it's pinball" thing, speaking generally.

Every once in a while that pop bumber sends the ball back to the playfield. I personally have one last moment of excitment and hope when the ball drains

This. With occasional frequency that bumpers pops the ball back out into the PF.

Ok, I suppose you all see it as a feature so I'll go with that.
