No one "wants" to put Mylar on their game, but you have to decide realistically where you are at.

Are you a player who puts 100 games per week on his WOZ cuz he can't stop playing it, or have you had it a year and only put up 200 games?

Do you wax your playfield 2x a month, or have you only waxed it once, and that was a year ago when you got it?

Are you still using the crummy factory balls it came with, or do you put those "ultra shiny" balls in once every month or two?

And don't kid yourself.

Even when I lay down one of my super aftermarket auto clearcoats, I still put Mylar under the ball drops from ramps, and in the pop pens because playfields wear in high traffic areas.

5 years ago everyone was taking about how WOZ was going to have a 1" thick playfield, and 10 coats of clear on the playfields, and 5 coats of clear on the cabinet.........now we don't hear any of that anymore.

That's because Jack overpromised and underdelivered.
