I had a broken white rubber fall down the playfield while playing the other day. It wasn’t obvious where it came from, and I didn’t have much time so left it for a later day.

I had time just now to move the pin out from the line and remove the glass for a deeper inspection.. and I’m afraid I found where it came from.

There is a slingshot just south of the top 3 lanes. Mine doesn’t have a rubber there, and it looks like it should.

The problem is, to replace it, it looks like the entire Munchkinland upper playfield has to come off. Having read the instructions in the manual, it looks fairly involved, and the colors of the cables that need to be disconnected don’t correspond to what I’m seeing (perhaps they changed with the various versions). I have a 75th anniversary 7.5 with 1.1 boards.

I’m hoping someone is going to tell me a way to sneak in a rubber without taking the play field off. It looks like it might be possible to take off the two plastics above it, but I’m not entirely sure.

Anyone have experience changing this rubber, or very familiar with removing Munchkinland?

Ugh...

WOW, thanks all. I removed the plastic which will get you access to 2 out of the 3 posts, but it looks like the upper play field will have to come up at least a tad to get the rubber around that third post. Off I go to watch the video.

Then I get to figure out why my audio just went super low. Even on 50 it’s super low. Hopefully I didn’t pull something when I lifted the PF.
