IMHO, I think the point Jack was making is, if you have a problem, open a ticket (or email Lloyd) so that the problem is established before the fact (regardless of how comfortable you are working with pins). I don't feel like your rant is anti-jjp. Pin's can be damn frustrating at times, I'm a newb but I've certainly been there a few times. good luck!
