Late reply here, but I recently had a problem with my crystal ball when I reassembled the area and had to reseat the connections. Anyway, I hadn't paid that close attention to it until then, and noticed the same thing -- basically appears to freeze on the last frame of the video clip. Pretty sure it's normal -- otherwise we have the same issue.
