If anybody is still encountering this, especially on games with a ton of plays, check the scoop itself for wear. Here is one from location that was sending the ball in different directions. Its a lot better after replacing the scoop bracket pictured.woz scoop
The same part is behind the castle door scoop so you can swap them to see if its the worn surface causing the variable kickout (tip from Lloyd).
