My WOZECLE shipped today.

Besides needing protectors for the slings, are any other plastics getting broken during game play?

I've seen pictures of the "there's no place like home" plastic broken.

I want to design/machine some protectors for my machine before game #1.

You shouldn't have to worry. Plastics don't break in a game as reportedly well built beyond everything imaginable.

I believe the setup can greatly effect if and when plastics will break. My WOZ did not break any plastics for the first 2 months of everyday play, then I put superbands on and broke the left sling plastic on the first game. If using super bands it is a hood idea to dial back the flipper strength.

Haven't heard of any issues with plastics at all, I'm sure some have broken, but as far as I'm aware no "problem" plastic has arisen.

If you plan to dial up your flipper strength, then it probably is a good idea to take precautions, mine are set on factory and they feel fine to me, but I know many people like their flippers as strong as possible, and at full power setting, WOZ's flippers will definitely do some damage.

Oh look, someone trying to say something with sarcasm on Pinside.

Hmmmm... interesting as I just finished putting SuperBands on my Tron and plan to do AC/DC in a minute but want to try out Tron first.

I am interested in picking up a WOZ..... maybe hold off on the SuperBands I suppose.... we shall see.

My friend and I have the same problem with this plastic

That's the 1st time I'd seen that one broken.

Guess I better make a protector for that one too.

Did you pick up on that?

Indypin made some plastic protectors a while back and I ordered them a few months ago..... got them the next day, but didn't install them until tonight. (a month later, I know I'm slow.)

so far I haven't had issues with breaking plastics but it was a good Father/ Daughter time working on the pinball machine today and installing things.

Looking forward to relaxing and playing pinball tonight. The plastic protectors are on now.

I've sold a lot of those protectors.

Everyone seems to really like them.

I finally installed mine, they are doing a fine job. Thanks Indy.

Yep. Me too. Got mine from you.

So far, I've not had any plastics to be damaged. Maybe flippers need to be turned down a notch?

LOL, good one. Unfortunately there are some sensitive people here who can't take a joke.

Same on mine. The plastic over the Winkie Guard cracked.
