thanks for a quality product and quick shipping.
I just installed all 4 of them and no problems.,
I look forward to other WoZ protectors.

I'm thinkin,,
Why did the plastics break so soon? If this is going to happen on my machine then I am sure I will need a set as well. Now, I should go check and see if any plastic is floating around in my machine.......
Geremy13,
I've had my protectors on my machine for approximately 120 game now....a couple of them already have dents in them. Hard telling what might have happened if the protectors weren't there.
The one thing I've noticed is that there are a LOT of air-balls on WOZ.
I'm going to be designing a couple more, along with a killer mod soon.
Will keep everyone updated.
I have my set, they look very well done, thanks! Unfortunately I don't have my game yet so I can't comment further...
Thanks guys for taking the time to post the positive comments. I really appreciate it.
I've had several people comment that they really like the machined edges. Once they're installed, the edges give off a slight glow, unlike the polished, laser cut edges.
Quoted from indypinhead:it's been a week since the last post bump....
I would like to write that I have recieved my set .. but I am still waiting
Meanwhile I installed a set from someone here in Germany. It is green lightning but looks not so good due the rgb-led colors will all look like green.
Finally installed my set, they are really perfect!
Nice job on them, they enhance the game a bit.
Quick 5 min install.

Thanks for the praise.
I've gotten a lot of compliments on the protectors.
I'm glad everyone likes them.
Quoted from wolftownjeff:Are you going to make protectors for any of the other plastics?
I plan on looking into it soon. I'm waiting on mods that I bought from Back Alley to see if there will be any interference.
The plastic protectors are great ... and they do give off a cool glow to the outside of the plastics. This is one of those "I'd be an idiot not to buy this" type purchases. Installation was extremely simple as the plastics were all readily accessible.
Sign me up. Definitely want a set for my LE machine. Send an invoice via PayPal or let me know how to get this done.
WOW!,....
Received mine yesterday and I will have to say that these are first rate!........ Just installed them and would recommend them to anybody that has this machine. I would buy again in an instant!...
In fact,,, that's what I'm going to do right now... not because I have another WOZ to put them on.... but because I truly appreciate quality workmanship and the time and money it takes to make something like this.... (this ain't Wal-Mart stuff... not knocking Wal-Mart.. but you know...) and who knows, may pick up another WOZ someday or sell these 'extra' protectors on sale for $100...
Anyways, great work. It is truly appreciated.
These protectors are fantastic. The extra protection they provide gives you peace of mind considering some parts may be hard to replace initially. The quality is top notch.
Thanks for the post and the pics coasterguy.
I've sold a lot of these.
Everyone seems to really like them.
Quoted from txstargazer3:Do it folks; these are very nice!
They are. I'm pretty certain one of my plastics would have been broken by now from the mad crystal ball eject. They are doing a great job keeping my plastics intact.
We need some kind of protection to cover the plastic over the winkie guard. It takes a terrible beating.

Borygard has that in his set. lockwhenlit.com
Quoted from indypinhead:I designed/manufactured playfield plastic protectors for my WOZ.
These are machined on a cnc machining center, NOT a laser cutter. The edges will have a nice, machined edge, not polished.
I make these using 1/16 thick polycarbonate, not the typical, PETG.
I have designed 4 of these, (both slingshot plastics, the inlane/outlane divider, as well as the "No Place Like Home" plastic.
Here is a pic of the protectors installed on my WOZ, as well as screen capture showing the plastic geometry in regards to the actual playfield plastic geometry, (magenta is the playfield plastic, yellow is the protector geometry). I offset the edges .100 where I could. You'll notice I'm not able to offset the edges where the ball drops, or it would interfere with the ball dropping out of the wireforms.
It's hard to see from the 1st pick, but I also didn't offset the edges near the flipper rubbers, so the protectors won't interfere with changing the flipper rubbers.
The 2 larger holes on both the divider and TNPLH plasics are clearance holes for the rubber stand-offs the JJP uses to mount the upper most plastic.
Price: $30 for the 4 piece set, SHIPPED anywhere in the continental US.
Any interest?
