Interesting. Only thing I can think of is that a previous owner purchased the board from someone who did the conversion. Wouldn't quite explain the QC sticker though....

When you spoke with JJP, didn't they offer you a discounted price with the return of your board, which was clearly manufactured by JJP? Usually they're quite generous in these situations. Not trying to talk you out of the 2.0 kit by any means, but I would call them back and see what they could do for you.
