well its an nice workaround.. great when u have games at home.. but what about if u have an routed game?
the customers who plays the game in the shop and see the LEDS frozen.. like hey u got to flip an switch to fix the locked up led problem inside the machine.. cant have that offcourse.
but maybe u should double connect the switch to the start button? if that is possible.. in that way u dont have to go inside the machine?
