It's just a switch tied into the LED power supply lines. Not a fix, just a quick workaround. Pretty clever.

7v board games have still been problematic, see TaylorVA and Pintucky as prime examples. The two most problematic JJP games on the planet.
Quoted from TaylorVA:My game was made with 5v boards and power supply. As of now the line conditioner seems to have helped fix the issue. I have been able to play my game since installing it pretty much issue free.
Wow are you serious?? Are you using the regulator linked below your post? How long have you been running without issues? Lights ok too?
If the APC LE600/LE1200 protect against surges/lightening strikes then why use a power strip surge protector with it?
Taylor have you had any more issues at all since you installed the regulator and replaced those last 2 light boards?
Quoted from kapsreiter:Sounds not 100%
i am not sure if i should order one
Those last 2 times could have just been from previously damaged LED boards. Regardless the long term results are definitely positive coming from multiple people. I know someone who is going to try the LE1200 on his game.
Quoted from TaylorVA:well I'm still having the f'ing flashing thing. The connector could be anywhere that I can tell including under the upper castle playfield. PITA.
Try tapping on the playfield in various areas and find the loose connector.
Quoted from scottc:This is ashame. They should send you guys having issues ALL new boards for the fix if in fact they have the problem figured out. Not a couple boards....all.
Absolutely. Jack keeps saying "We will do whatever it takes." Well put your money where your mouth is and DO WHATEVER IT TAKES. FOR CRAP'S SAKE SEND ALL NEW BOARDS. If you can't, don't write checks your supply chain can't cash. Should've been done the very first instant it was known that all 5v boards are defective.
