I have a strange situation with my WOZ that occurs when the monkey captures Dorothy and moves the ball behind the castle doors. Another ball should eject so I can attempt to release her. Instead the machine sits idle and then goes thru a ball hunt until the captured ball is released.

I ran a switch test and all the balls show green indicators where they should, i.e., the ball captured by the monkey, any locked balls and any in the trough show green in the switch test. I also ran a manual test where I put a ball in various positions to make sure the switch turned on and off properly. I have 5 balls installed and all appear to be accounted for during the game so I am not sure why it's getting confused. There are no other switch issues being reported. Everything else seems to be working. I noticed the problem when I installed software v6.5 (full install) and with 6.6 which I installed today.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. I changed the balls with new ones and verified the monkey is dropping the ball. Still no change. The machine acts like the ball is lost when the monkey picks it up.

Good call on the switch. A small tweak and it was working fine. What thru me off was it looked like it was registering green in the switch test. It was an intermittent problem.
