Quoted from cougtv:This concerns me. You say "several rounds of boards." Several usually means 3 or more. Could you elaborate on this. Do you have a DMM? If not, I can see the random shooting. If it takes 3 or more times to figure out which board failed and you have a DMM, I am scared. To me this means component level trouble shooting may be out the window. If boards become unavailable and you have a similar failure, you're SOL. If you're 3 years from purchase, would you have to buy all 3 + boards? I really really hope you say you have no DMM. It would make my of the fears about this brand (gotten from your 3 + board story) go away............I am not going hard against anyone, but this could affect future purchases for me. I really just have to know.
In my opinion, one of the best things about Woz is the level of support that's out there.
Jack and his team used new technology so of course, there are some issues that need to be addressed/tweaked/replaced from time to time.
What you need to know is that they will support you 100% No worries there. Trust me.
On a separate note, I love seeing how a game like this (personally, one that I'm not fond of) is loved by so many. It just goes to show you that one man's trash is another man's treasure and that we're lucky to have such variety in this hobby.
If it weren't for Woz and Stern, I think we'd be having the same argument between TZ and AFM.
Personally, I love ramps and speed pins. Though TZ is one of the best looking pins ever made, I'm not a fan.
