For a start, there are screws holding the castle playfield down. I'd loosen them and pull the castle playfield forward away from the back and tighten.

That gets harder if you need to snoop under there and see if it is binding on wires or anything or the spring that closes it is.

You can pull the playfield up and slide forward and rest on the front of the cabinet. Then lift the rear up and get a look under there. Be careful so you don't slide the playfield off the cabinet.

There are two limit switches that let the game know where the monkey is. One up by the castle door, and one down by the spot on the playfield where the monkey stops. The whole monkey mech and switches are monuted to a big metal bracket. Follow the wires below the playfield to locate them.

Adjust the switch arm up to stop the monkey quicker, adjust the switch arm down to had the monkey go farther.

Go into Tests - Switches - Matrixed. Bang on playfield. Adjust any that vibration triggers.
