Quoted from monkfe:

Ok Gents, joined the club unexpectedly today. machine is in great shape, however when I got it home its now stuck on a boot screen of sorts...the bottom of the screen says to press f2 or something to that effect...Where to look first here....everything at the rear of the bottom box is connected ..also which software update, I see several I was going to go with the full 7.04...thanks...seller said he never updated the machine and he purchased it new.....

Dead battery on the computer.

Run to WalMart and buy a new CR2430 (need to verify that) and put it on the motherboard where the old one is.
You'll need a keyboard plugged into the USB port to get into the BIOS to change the setting so it'll boot past whatever errors you are getting.

Quoted from Triplecdad:

Am I correct in that there is a waiting list for the 2.0 boards? I reached out to JJP with no response, so if true how does one get on that list? And any idea on production schedule? Probably been asked before, I know so sorry for that.

You can also email the whole team at [email protected] if you are not comfortable emailing directly to a specific person.
That is our catch-all email.

Ultimately, your best option is to submit a ticket at http://store.jerseyjackpinball.com/Support-Form/ for the fastest response.

Quoted from RobbyIRL5:

Anybody know what the side to side playfield angle should be for the mini-playfield? I used to get this multiball all the time on a friends YBR, but it's quite challenging on my RR, seems to drain (from the upper playfield) really easily. I believe it's flat (side to side), should it lean to the right a little bit to feed that flipper better? And if so, is there an adjustment on it (like TZ)?
Thanks!

0° side to side.

Quoted from LTG:

The two pinsiders they hired don't seem to be as active as I was.
Hopefully things improve.
LTG : )

Who's the other one?

#13613 1 year ago
Quoted from LTG:

He posted in one of the JJP threads, hoping he'd help speed things up.
I'm sorry I don't remember him. And not thinking of pinballomatic.
LTG : )

There's just the 3 of us, so not sure who it would've been.

Quoted from LTG:

Did you change your avatar recently ? If so maybe that confused me.
LTG : )

No, but my name changed about a year ago.

Quoted from RobbyIRL5:

Melted the witch for the first time yesterday!
did Ken Holland leave JJP support?
[quoted image]

Nope, still here!

Send us a parts list and we'll see if we can beat the prices you have.
Some of the parts we have are surprisingly inexpensive, and we charge actual shipping with no upcharge.

Quoted from RobbyIRL5:

Oh great! I sent via email (to you and Barry at JJP addresses) last night, if you didn't receive I'm posting here as well.
• 23-0003-00 (23-800 Standard Coil)
• 30-0014-30-1 (1-7/8” Coil Tubing, Flanged)
• 13-7005-00 (VUK Plunger Return Spring)
• 11-5001-00 (VUK Armature Plunger assy) - may not need a new one, but it was pretty boogered into there, so to be safe, I'll get a new one.
Total assembly is:
51-0009-00 (Vertical Up-Kicker Assembly), if close to the same price, I'll just buy the whole thing.
Thank you!

No email was received, and Barry no longer works here.

Please submit a ticket via http://store.jerseyjackpinball.com/Support-Form/ and I'll take care of it for you.

Quoted from RobbyIRL5:

This is where it goes over my head a little bit . How do I find it, and what's required to replace? Thanks Lloyd.

Page C-99 shows the drive transistor for each coil, located on the I/O board.
Judging by the condition of the coil, I bet the transistor is pretty easy to spot by looking for physical damage.

Quoted from CTHOMAS1998:

I'm looking for a couple of the LED Data Cables for the small GI LED's. The part number I need is 19-3031-06, but I could use a longer one if I have to. JJP doesn't have them for sale on their Website, and no one else seems to carry them. Does anyone have a couple they would like to sell, or if anyone knows who carries them, please let me know. Thanks!

Quoted from BR80:

I have a WOZ that is freezing on this screen when starting.
If I use a keyboard and 'F2 to continue' it will boot and play.
Any ideas, SSD beginning to fail? If so, does JJP sell replacement drives?
Or will updating the software help (yes, I know it's out of date).
Greating ready to submit a ticket, but thought I'd start here.
Thanks for any insight...
