Quoted from SDpinballer:

You won’t be sorry you did!

I hope this grows roots and stays for a long time, just like my Hobbit.

Quoted from chalkup8:

Nice pick up.I missed out on the Emerald city version and have the 75th.
Grab a Munchkin playfield protector edge for it.

The munchkin protector will be the first mod I get. I’m just happy I found a Emerald City version with the 2.0 system but it was a tough decision between the 75th and the Emerald city, both versions are beautiful.

Quoted from DCFAN:

It appears to be the Automated Services Emerald edition (green trim), different from the ECLE. Anyone can buy the green trim separately anyway.

True anyone can buy the trim, but add the shaker and glass and it seems to be a good package. Red green silver what ever floats your boat but they all play the same.

#6484 5 years ago

Is there a way to bypass the lock when the Munchkin Playfield is ready? Just seems like they are always ready at the same time.

Quoted from PtownPin:

The only real difference is the wood apron, and the direct print decals....that being said both are really nice, and look much better

Not sure about much better but I guess that’s a matter of opinion, thank goodness we play them instead of hanging them on the wall.

Quoted from Gomer1969:

I finally melted the witch. It only took me what four years?
I probably don't play as much as most of you, that's my excuse anyway, but it was nice to finally complete the mode.

I also melted the witch for the first time over the weekend and it was a very satisfying feeling. I love this adventure game and how beautiful it looks. I’m really liking the munchkin modes and munchkin multiball, Come to think of it I really enjoy both of the upper play fields. I think what they did with the upper play fields and giving them their own multiball is just awesome.

Melted the witch today and got a decent score. All I needed to do was get a mega jackpot in rescue multiball and I would of made it to SOTR. I’m just not sure how to get it yet. I really enjoyed the game it felt like I was on a journey across OZ.

Quoted from f3honda4me:

Looking to join the club, considering buying a NIB with 2.0 boards WOZ. Prices on used WOZ seem way too high to me considering majority of them don’t have 2.0 boards. $7500-$8000 for a used plus shipping plus another $800 and 12 hours of work installing 2.0 boards, or buy a new one for about $9500 delivered. From reading people seem to indicate it’s not a matter of if but when the 5.5 or 7.5 boards will fail earlier than they should, and people selling with only a few hundred plays seem of the impression their 5.5/7.5 boards will never fail early since they haven’t failed yet, so therefore will never need 2.0. Am I crazy?

I just went through this same thing, to buy used or just go for the nib. I ended up going NIB with 2.0 system and feel good with my choice. If you are buying this pin to be a keeper and you’re actually planning on playing it then it seems NIB is the right choice with 2.0. If you’re buying to play and move it on in a few months or so then used would be the choice, but that’s just my humble opinion.

Quoted from f3honda4me:

Joined the club today! Received my NIB Emerald Green LE and it's working flawlessly. And has a monkey! :p I got this from automated services. What's interesting is that even though the build date on the machine was 2015, it has 2.0 boards. Love that NIB smell!
Box even has a label that says 2.0 boards.

Good choice man, I just got one of these guys in January and I’m so happy as I was thinking of waiting for the YBR edition. The color is awesome and 2.0 lighting system is the way to go, have fun on your new adventure.

Quoted from Oneangrymo:

Guys I’m deciding on yellow brick edition the only thing missing is the flying monkey ? Man I like flying monkey

The flying monkey always makes me smile every time, not sure how I would feel about paying more and missing out on the monkey.

#6963 5 years ago

The ECLE WOZ had a run of 1,000 made and the Automated green edition had 50 made so it seems like one is more limited than the other. If anyone is thinking of a NIB WOZ the green edition is beautiful and updated with 2.0 and comes with full factory warranty at a great price. It really doesn’t matter what color you pick because they all play the same(- the ybr). I herd from a few different distributors they are supposed to make more RR but that’s not set in stone.

I bought my WOZ green edition from Automated and it had a sticker that said 2.0 upgrade. Before I bought the game I did a little research and called JJpinball and talked to a few people to confirm who did the upgrade and what was a green edition. I wouldn’t think the game is used but all you have to do is look at your Playfield and see if it has dimples... if it did before you played it then it was used and if it doesn’t then it’s probably new good to go. Congrats on your NIB purchase.

Quoted from Rolls-Royce:

The green and the ECLE are the same type of green?.... any comparison pics fellas?

I bought this Automated edition in January and it came with 2.0 lighting system, invisiglass, shaker, topper, green armor and green wire forms.

Quoted from Rolls-Royce:

Wow?... Wow what?... it just gets extremely boring listening to the same complaints over and over again about YBR LE. What is your point? Just answer me? What are you winning or what do you want for the owners like me to learn with your criticism?... if you own a Ruby Red an a Emerald that’s great, I’ll guess that you have superior games for a lower price or what is your point please?
I own just 4 Pinball games and it is ridiculous the way that this particular Yellow Brick Road LE game it is criticized, if you feel certain pain about this edition just call JJP and they will help you.
A guy in a red light yelled at me once:-"...that’s a piece of shit!" (Pointing at my Phantom), that was kind of painful, sad, disrespectful and yes I took that personally, when I got home and saw my 3 cars... I just felt pity for that guy.[quoted image]

People will always bash what they can’t have or don’t agree with, but all that is just white noise if you like what you have. The YBR WOZ is a beautiful piece of pinball art just like all the others. Seems like you might have room for a few more... what’s your next pin on your radar.

Quoted from Rager170:

Just placed an order for my WOZ, that "Green Edition" that Automated is selling.
Super excited but have to wait until the weekend to get it.

Congrats on pulling the trigger on the green edition...it’s a beauty.

Quoted from SDpinballer:

Y’all probably know this already, but on the off chance ya don’t, as I didn’t, this little post sure does make it easier to get rescue multi-ball. Now I’m battling the witch all the time. Previously prevented by rescue multiball. I didn’t even know this option was available until I started putting Cliffys on this thing. [quoted image]

This is how my WOZ came from factory. I wonder if it was a mistake or normal.

Quoted from homegameroom:

I didn’t know that either!!
Quick question- the “Break Down Door” light never lights during game play but operates fine in attract mode. Does the board need to be replaced?[quoted image]

Make sure to have a ball trapped by the monkey(capture Dorathy).

Quoted from TonyScoots:

One of my favorite mini games, I still have not completed one. I have came very close and it’s very challenging, Toto I get almost every time. I might have to change the difficult to hard

The first Toto is easy...now the second one is a great challenge and feels good when I get it.
