Quoted from Kkoss24:

I might be bias because this was my first pin purchased and not that it matters but for the life of me I can’t figure out how this is not a top 10 pin .I just started in pinball this last spring but we have a place we go to that has 90 plus n a lot of new ones and with all this game has to offer (toys, immense code,lighting,shots,2nd chance out lanes ,real movie characters with they’re voices and scenes ,so many options to mod to your liking, incredible flow, incredible multi ball as you have 2 UPFs your playing while keeping lower 1/3 going). Is it because it’s not a “manly” enough theme ? What do you think ?

Agreed. I wasn't a pinhead until well after this one was released so I didn't get in on the initial hype. The family loved the WoZ theme but going by where it sits on "the list" I hesitated to get one for a while. When we finally got this one home I was blown away. The numerous toys and neat little details like the crystal ball and witches legs are pretty cool but even the call outs, music, and sound quality are all extremely well done. It checks a lot of boxes for me and the fam so its close to, if not at the top of my somewhat inexperienced list. I lost interest in my AFMr SE after about 5 plays and that one is in the top 5? I don't get it - though I know it has a lot of fans. Different strokes for different folks. Glad WoZ isn't any more popular because that makes it a comparative bargain!

Have some friends coming over to play tonight and after being unplugged for a couple weeks my ECLE won't boot up. A grainy Jersey Jack splash screen followed by these 2 screens. The service buttons don't seem to do anything.
Thoughts?

Quoted from LTG:

Looks like a hard drive issue. I'd reseat the SATA cables both ends. See if that helps.
Otherwise try replacing the SSD and do a full install.
The splash screen is the motherboard starting up.
LTG : )

Is that inside the computer chasis? I see there's a "reset button" per the label on the cover. I'm not worried about keeping scores bc I kinda suck at it so should I try a reset after re-plugging cables?

#11670 3 years ago
Quoted from LTG:

Yes.

Won't change anything. Reset just starts up the power supply.

Thanks LTG. Reseated a bunch of stuff and still the same result. Just order one from JJP as the first step?

#11742 3 years ago
Quoted from LTG:

Yes unless you can source one locally.
LTG : )

Wanted to say thanks! I put in the new SSD and installed the code per JJP instructions and $20 later its back up and working 100%

Quoted from Pinballomatic:

You make a full install stick and use the game to program it.

Yep, I'm close to computer illiterate and it was relatively easy for me. Installed a blank 60gb SSD in place of the old one then put in the USB with the full install on it per the great instructions on JJP's site, flip the game on and it does the rest itself. Thanks for making it easy!

Quoted from FlippyD:

What's the best email to contact at JJP to get on the 2.0 lighting list? Thanks!

[email protected]

Ken got back to me within an hour confirming I was on the list.

Quoted from Triplecdad:

Am I correct in that there is a waiting list for the 2.0 boards? I reached out to JJP with no response, so if true how does one get on that list? And any idea on production schedule? Probably been asked before, I know so sorry for that.

You can email Ken directly [email protected] . He has always responded to me promptly. I got on the list 9 mos ago and checked in about a month ago to confirm they were still waiting. Ken confirmed that the waitlist will be taken care of before any kits will be made available for sale on their site (assuming that there are more than enough to take care of the list) so you do want to get on that list.
