Hi all,
after a long time being happy with my Wizard of OZ software 5.05, I now updated to 7.02.
All went fine and is in pretty good shape.

Just all Slingshots and Bumpers are incredible strong.
I used to configure my Bumpers to 8 milliseconds and the slingshots to 4 ms.
Now the allowed range for Bumpers is 24 to 36 ms and for the slingshots it's 20 to 30 ms.
This is really strong and I avoid now playing, in fear the game will wear out faster than neccessary.

A restore of the settings didn't change anything and I am also not sure, if the range is correct defined by the software update.
Can someone please confirm, that those ranges are correct?
E.g, when I go to Full Menu -> Install Presets -> Game Presets -> Proto Coil Settings, I can see, that the Slingshots should be set to 8, but this doesn't work either, it changes the value to 20.

Or does anyone has an idea to get a workaround? I am quite ok in the IT World, so if you have a hint on a file to modify, I'd be also quite happy to give that a try.

Just in case anyone runs into the same - I was able to restore to v5.05 without any problems, could also restore all settings (and game stats) without any problem, now all is fine again, thanks to Rainer Bach for the idea.
