Hey Lloyd.
I bought a NIB WOZ a little while ago. Have my first tiny issue after about 500 games. The rubber on the kicker at the top of the machine (directly below the two Wizard of Oz lanes that multiply your bonus) broke.
Am I going to have to remove the Munchkin playfield to get to that rubber?
Thanks,
Tinman
Rob made this up just for you. LTG : )
10 Minute Top Sling Rubber Ring Replacement:
Part Required:
2” Black Rubber Ring @ $0.59 http://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/38-2000B
Tools Required:
Philips Head Screwdriver 11/32 Magnetic Nut Driver
1) Remove the two 11/32 nuts and triangle plastic (#32) and set aside.
2) You can see you don’t have enough room to clear the munchkin playfield. You need loosen the playfield just enough to allow the ring to slip through - Grab the top of the house and spin it CLOCKWISE until you see the post.
- Loosen the screw but do not remove it
- Again rotate the house CLOCKWISE until you see the post in the back
- Loosen the screw but do not remove it
3) You should now have enough of a gap to get the new ring over the post - Start under the playfield and get the ring over the hardest post 1st - You may have to hold up GENTLY on the munchkin playfield
Other 2 posts are exposed – make sure the ring is in the grove
4) Tighten the 2 post screws holding the munchkin playfield back down
Turn the house CLOCKWISE to expose the post screws and tighten securly
5) Reattach triangle plastic. The nut under the ramp can be a little tricky. I had to thread it on by hand and then tighten with magnetic 11/32 nut driver.
