WOZ Ball Lock problem

I have some problems with the 3-Ball Lock on the right side. Shouldn’t the balls locked there be released after every game?

This happens: If, for instance, two balls are locked there during a game, and I loose, the two balls stay in their locked position. So, when the next game is started, it starts with two balls there.

The same thing happens with the Winged Monkey Lock. If a game ends with a ball there, it remains in that position when the next game starts.

Any suggestion how to solve this issue?

Please forgive this question, but to start with the simple, have you checked the settings to see if they are set to release or hold balls at the end of the game?

It was set to "NO" so I have now changed it to "YES". Thanks for the advice!

I can't understand why there is a "NO" option. It can lead to the following situation: One ball is locked at the Winged Monkey Place and several balls are locked at the 3-Ball Lock Place when a game starts. If I shoot the first new ball into the 3-Ball Lock Place, the game can't find another ball to shoot (trough is empty).

That shouldn't be an issue. The game has 5 balls. If you shoot a ball when two are locked and lock isn't lit, it will release one of the locked balls. I'm not sure why there is an option to hold the balls on this game.

I’m having the same issue with the 3 ball lock not releasing after a game is finished. I can’t find the setting to “Release locked balls”. Any help would be appreciated. It’s annoying to have to restart the game when this happens.

Why would you want to do that? Perhaps to get rid of the small delay at the end of the game when the balls drain?

The issue is the balls don’t drain/release upon game completion and remain locked. Then when a game is started the game goes into ball search mode indefinitely until power cycled.

That should release any balls, once drained then you can start.

If not, go over where they don't release from, something isn't quite right.

Pull the glass, in test mode put three balls in the lock.

Fire the coil that pulls the lock mech/arm up, does it work? The issue might be that the lock mech/arm bracket needs to be adjusted. (if it's not adjusted right, the weight of the balls sitting under the lip is too much force for that magnet/coil to pull it up)

No setting anymore. The game should do it automatically now. As will all JJP pins going forward.
